MEJO 332: Public Relations Writing is an APPLES service-learning class where we are assigned a nonprofit client to work with throughout the semester. I was assigned to work with Women’s Forum of North Carolina. The Women’s Forum of North Carolina provides a vehicle through which women are effective agents for constructive change by speaking out and taking action on public issues, through the development of potential women leaders, and as a force for the enhancement and enrichment of the lives of all NC women. The Women’s Forum is an invitational, non-partisan organization of diverse women leaders dedicated to work to achieve and maintain equality and social, economic, and political power for all NC women.
